Saddle Lake Recreation Area
Free camping is available at 14 sites in the Saddle Lake Recreation Area in the Hoosier National Forest, Indiana. All sites are non-electric, including 1 site at the boat ramp.
Hickory Ridge Horsecamp
20 sites are available free of charge. Located adjacent to the 46-mile long Hickory Ridge trail in the Hoosier National Forest, Indiana. The campground is designed for horse camping, however, any National Forest visitor is welcome. Campground has vault toilets, hitching racks, and water for horses (not potable for people). Mountain bikes and hikers are allowed on the trail.
