Located at Wappapello Lake, Missouri. Primitive camping is allowed at four campsites in the parking area. Sites contain grills and there is a vault toilet. Free registration is required.
Little Indian Creek
Little Indian Creek is a stream located just 7.2 miles from Saint Clair, in the state of Missouri, United States, near George (historical), MO. Fishermen will find a variety of fish including yellow perch, rainbow trout and panfish here. Whether you’re baitcasting, fly fishing or spinning your chances of getting a bite here are good. So grab your favorite fly fishing rod and reel, and head out to Little Indian Creek. If all goes well, the perch will be hooked by your crickets, the rainbow will be biting your worms and the bluegill will be grabbing your mousies.
Free primitive camping is available year round in designated areas. Camping is not allowed in the Missouri Department of Conservation Wildlife Area north of Hwy 34. Registration is required.
